The next day, we headed off to Chateau Haute Koenigsbourg.

It is an old chateau which was restored by Kaiser Willhelm II when Alsace was under German rule before WWI.

We drove up, and then had to walk up a bit.

That little chute on the far left of the picture is where the toilet released.

Yana really liked climbing around.

This was an entrance.

Essentially, this says "Kaiser Willhelm II was here."

There was a commanding view of the surrounding countryside from the turrets.
